A generous donation from a generous family!

We are lucky to have some extremely generous people in our community involved with Convoy. On Saturday night at the first annual Carr Brothers Motorcycles Fundraising Ball at City Beach Function Centre, The Starcic family successfully bid on a Bali hotel accommodation package for four, valued at $6500. In attendance at the fundraising ball, were Kelly Bonanno and her daughter Grace, who had received funding from the Illawarra Community Foundation earlier in the year. Kelly made a very moving speech about her family’s experiences during Grace's Leukaemia treatment and recovery, and the support the family received. Shortly later Rob Starcic announced that they had actually purchased the holiday package for Kelly, Grace and the Bonanno family, so they can all enjoy a well-deserved holiday, one they had not been able to take for years. The Starcic family are also generously covering all the required flights and any additional accommodation costs for the 6 children and Kelly! Kelly & Grace Bonanno were amazed at the Starcic's donation, and we hope they have a great holiday!
