"Hello, my name is Danielle Sole. I'm 56 years old and this is my story.
I was diagnosed in September 2024 by Professor EDMUND LAU from RPA RISPIRTIY CLINIC with a Disease called CTEPH, know as Chronic Thromboembolic Pulmonary Hypertension. Upon diagnosis it was classified as Servere and INOPERABLE.
What this means it is a serious condition where un-dissolved blood clots turn into scar tissue inside the lung arteries.
This scar tissue blocks blood flow and raises blood pressure in the lungs, which strains the right side of the heart.
This also affects my heart know as Pulmonary Hypertension and left me with a High Risk of right side heart failure.
I became wheelchair bound within a year form being diagnosed and needed the use of a Oxygen Therapy 24/7.

This is a Rare Disease because sadly there is No Cure and early Detection is vital. My disease is classified under the World Health Organisation in 1 out of 5 Pulmonary Hypertension, CTEPH being RARE because there is no cure.
Sadly I Passed away on the 7th of Augast 2026.

Please HELP me Danielle Sole, raise awareness of this Disease because very early detection is crucial for extending your life.

In memory of Mitchy GBM Fighter
In memory of Mitchy GBM Fighter Raised $615.00

From being the trucker rolling down the mountain to support Illawarra families in need, to becoming the trucker who needed that support himself — this is Mitch’s story.
Mitch was diagnosed with an aggressive brain cancer, glioblastoma, on 17 June 2023. He was given just 14–18 months to live, yet he fought for 2 years and 6 months — a miracle in itself, powered by pure determination and a heart of gold.
Sadly Mitch passed on 15 December 2025.
Exactly one month before Mitch passed, his mobility and speech were gone. But his spirit wasn’t. All he wanted was to take one more roll down the mountain with his truck fleet family — and we made it happen. That day meant everything to him, and to us.
Even through unimaginable times for our own family, Mitch never stopped thinking of others who were hurting. That’s just who he was.
The Illawarra Convoy exists to support families facing the unthinkable — and now we want to give back in honour of our Mitchy. This convoy is his legacy — one that will continue to lead on, remind us who we are, and show the strength of our community.
We want to raise as much as we can for the Illawarra Convoy — for the families who need it most — and to always remember: we are the Illawarra.
